Luchtballon

BSO Luchtballon is located in the lively Ondiep district, right next to the public primary school Jules Verne at Mariëndaalstraat 21 in Utrecht. The building itself has a distinctive historic Utrecht character. We share our spacious group room with the Jules Verne toddler group in the mornings and have our own outdoor area where children can play freely after school. We work closely with Jules Verne primary school, providing before- and after-school care, care on study days and during all school holidays. During holiday periods we are open from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. Our after-school care follows the Pedagogisch Hart approach of Kind&co ludens, built on four core values: feeling good and having fun, growing and discovering, offering a rich environment, and being together. We believe children develop best when they feel safe and happy, so we give them trust and space to explore and stay curious. Play is learning; we therefore actively provide an inspiring and challenging environment. Finally, we see our care setting as a mini-society in which we care for each other and the world around us. We welcome children aged 4 to 12, offering them a familiar place to play, relax and make friends after school.
