LPS kinderopvang De Vuurtoren (BSO) is located on the ground floor of Kind Centrum De Vuurtoren, right in the Noordgeest district of Bergen op Zoom. We provide after-school care for up to 44 primary-school children aged 4 to 12. Because we share the same building with Dalton primary school De Welle and OBS De Noordster, children simply walk from their classroom to our BSO space—no extra travel required. Our BSO is designed to give children calm and space after a busy school day. There is always time to play outside on the spacious playground we share with the schools, pick a book from the shelf, or tell tall tales to friends. We do not follow a rigid schedule; instead, we offer a familiar environment where children decide what they need. Our pedagogical staff—who also work as teaching assistants at both schools—know the children well and connect seamlessly with their world. The close cooperation between school and BSO creates a continuous learning and development line. During holidays and study days we celebrate: we organise themed activities, explore the neighbourhood and make use of local sports and cultural offerings. Parents can easily register their child through our online form; we align care days with the school timetables of De Welle and De Noordster.
