Welcome to LPS childcare De Boemerang, located at Philomenahof 33/35 in the heart of Hoogerheide. We are part of the Lowys Porquinstichting and have been providing professional after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 for many years. Our BSO is housed in the same building as De Boemerang community school, making the transition from school to after-school care literally just a few steps away. At our facility, playful development is at the core of everything we do. We offer a loving and safe place where children can relax after an intensive school day. Every child is unique and receives the space to grow in their own way and at their own pace. We believe children learn best by discovering and experiencing things themselves. That's why they get the time and freedom to choose activities that match their interests and developmental level. Our pedagogical staff create a familiar environment where children feel safe. We approach every child with respect and take them seriously for who they are. We do this by teaching them to interact respectfully with other children, adults, and nature. We work with fixed base groups where each child has their own mentor. This mentor is the first point of contact for both child and parents and closely follows the child's well-being and development. After school, we pick up the children from De Boemerang and bring them to our BSO location Jongleren with our minibus. Here they can choose from various activities or simply enjoy some quiet time. On Wednesday and Friday afternoons and during school holidays, we organize special activities and regularly go on excursions. Think of creative craft projects, sports games in our spacious garden, or discovery trips in nature. We actively involve children in planning activities and choosing new toys, as we value child participation highly. Our after-school care is designed to provide children with a pleasant place where they can be themselves. We don't apply performance pressure, but rather offer space for relaxation, fun, and free time activities. Together we form a close-knit group where every child feels at home and has their own place.
