LPS kinderopvang Sint Anthonius

Welcome to LPS childcare Sint Anthonius, located at Burgemeester Versluijsstraat 20 in the heart of Oud-Vossemeer. We are part of the Lowys Porquinstichting and have been offering a unique combination of primary education and childcare under one roof since 2014. Our after-school care (BSO) is housed in the same building as RK Basisschool Sint Anthonius, allowing children to walk safely and familiarly to after-school care right after school ends. Our location accommodates up to 22 school-aged children between 4 and 12 years old. We work with a horizontal group structure, where children play and learn in small, manageable groups. Our pedagogical staff are ready to welcome the children as soon as school finishes. We provide rest, cosiness and challenging activities tailored to each child's world of experience. The children have access to a spacious, green outdoor playground that we share with the school. Here they can romp, play football, build huts or simply enjoy being outside. Inside we have a cosy BSO room where we do crafts, play games, build with LEGO or enjoy reading in our reading corner. We believe it is important that children can develop freely and make their own choices in a safe and familiar environment. At LPS Sint Anthonius, collaboration is central. We work closely with the primary school teachers, keeping us well informed about what happens during the day. This allows us to connect with the children's interests and provide additional support if needed. We also value parental involvement highly. We inform parents through our newsletter and parent meetings, and parents are always welcome to contribute ideas about our provision. Our BSO is open on school days from the end of school until 18:30. During school holidays we offer holiday care with a special holiday programme full of fun outings and activities. We are registered with the National Childcare Register under number 179358790 and meet all quality requirements of the Childcare Act. At LPS Sint Anthonius, children are given space to grow, play and learn in a warm, homely atmosphere.
