BSO Los Hoes

Welcome to BSO Los Hoes, located at Hassinkborgh 16 in Haaksbergen, on the same premises as primary school Los Hoes. We are an after-school care facility operated by Stichting Humankind, providing care for children aged 4 to 13 years. Our BSO is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. At BSO Los Hoes, we work with mixed-age groups where children from 4 to 13 years play and learn together. We always tailor our activities to the different age groups. Two childcare professionals are responsible for a group of maximum 20 children (ages 4-7) or 30 children (ages 8-13), with an additional adult always present as backup support. Our staff personally pick up the youngest children from school. For older children, it's often possible to come to BSO independently, walking or by bicycle. When the distance to school is more than 15-20 minutes walking, we can arrange transportation by car, van, or taxi. We offer an engaging program where children can choose from various activities such as arts and crafts, cooking, sports and games, and nature experiences. Our location features a spacious garden where children can play freely. During school holidays, we organize special vacation programs with fun outings and activities. We are also open on teacher training days and study days. These extra opening days are announced at the beginning of the school year. We use a convenient parent app to keep parents informed of all activities and to request additional care when needed. For children who need it, we offer the option to enjoy a healthy, warm meal at BSO. This way, we ensure that children can relax and play in a familiar environment after a busy school day.
