Welcome to Loofles After-School Care at Deventerstraat 218 in Apeldoorn. In this small-scale and homely setting, primary-school children have all the space they need after school to play, relax and discover together with peers. We offer both regular after-school care and BSO+ for children who need extra support. Our qualified pedagogical staff pick the children up from school every day and bring them to our location. There each child chooses what he or she feels like doing: playing outside, joining a board game, quietly reading or taking part in one of the regular outings we organise during holidays. We work with a fixed core of HBO-trained staff who, following the competence model, focus on the personal development of every child. We serve a warm meal in the afternoon and on weekdays, ensuring the children are well looked after nutritionally as well. We are known for our inclusive approach: every child is welcome, regardless of any developmental questions such as autism or ADHD. Parents appreciate this greatly, as brothers and sisters can attend together under one roof. Loofles Deventerstraat officially opened on 1 May 2021 and has room for up to 30 children. We believe it is important that children feel safe and at home, so they come to the care with pleasure and can take the next step in their development with confidence.
