BSO Lindenheuvel

BSO Lindenheuvel is located in primary school De Duizendpoot at location Lindenheuvel on Veermanstraat 9 in Geleen. We provide after-school care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our BSO is characterized by a cozy, homely space within the school building where fun, attention and respect are key values. Children come here after school to relax, meet other children and have fun together. We offer a varied activity program that matches the different ages and interests of the children. The group room is quietly and clearly arranged with different play corners: a home corner, construction corner, dining corner with games and craft supplies, air hockey and football table, reading corner, theater corner, studio and a cozy seating area. Additionally, children can use the school's play hall for movement games with materials such as balls, hoops and climbing frames. Outdoor play is an important part of our offering. Every day the children play on the primary school's playground, weather permitting. There are plenty of opportunities to cycle, play football, run and climb. We also have access to a special school garden where children can play and discover. Children are placed in a fixed group guided by permanent pedagogical staff. This provides familiarity and continuity. We follow the child's initiatives while paying attention to the individuality and talents of each child. This way, every child gets the space to make their own choices and develop into an independent and responsible individual. Our opening hours are Monday through Thursday after school until 6:30 PM. For before-school care (VSO) we are open from 7:30 AM until school starts. On Fridays we collaborate with BSO Tinkeltime in Oud-Geleen. During school holidays we join forces with BSO Tinkeltime from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
