Lefie Honky Tonk

Lefie Honky Tonk is a small-scale after-school care (BSO) located at Dorpsstraat 1070 BO in Assendelft. Operating under the Lefie brand—a sole proprietorship run by Jet Goedhart—we have provided trusted after-school care for up to 24 children aged 4 to 12 since 29 September 2016. Our homely premises sit right in the heart of the village, allowing children to reach us quickly and safely after school. We maintain close partnerships with several primary schools in the immediate area. Our qualified pedagogical staff pick the children up at the end of the school day and walk them to our location. This short stroll gives children a moment to share the day’s stories and unwind before the programme begins. At Lefie Honky Tonk, play, discovery and togetherness are at the core of everything we do. We offer a wide range of activities that match the children’s interests: from crafts, construction and drama to sports and games in our own garden or the nearby playground. There is also space for quiet moments; children can read in our cosy reading corner or simply relax with a biscuit and a drink. Flexibility is our trademark. We open as early as 6:00 a.m. and parents may opt for half-day or full-day care. This way we tailor our service to what each family needs.
