BSO Leeuwesteyn

Welcome to BSO Leeuwesteyn, the after-school care of Kindcentrum Leeuwesteyn located in the new Leeuwesteyn district of Utrecht. We offer care for children aged 4 to 12 in a warm, safe and stimulating environment. Our location is situated at Zilveren Florijnlaan 99, integrated within the same building as the primary school, allowing children to walk straight to their familiar base group after school. After school, children first enjoy a healthy drink and snack in their own base group. Then there is plenty of room to play, discover and participate in activities. We work with fixed base groups so every child feels safe and at home. The group rooms are child-friendly and clearly arranged with theme-based corners where children can play and explore endlessly. Together with the school we share the craft studio, technology room and cooking studio. In addition, we have our own vegetable garden on the roof terrace and an outdoor space where children can run and play to their heart's content. Our activity program is varied and tailored to the age of the children. Think of theater, cooking, crafts, dancing and sports activities in our own gym. During holidays we work according to a thematic holiday program and regularly organize fun excursions. The themes are aligned with the school, creating a nice connection between the programs. Older children are involved in planning the activities. Parents stay informed through our secure parent app with photos, news and information about their child's experiences. We value personal contact and regularly discuss each child's well-being and development. Currently we have a waiting list due to the growth of the neighborhood and the national staff shortage. We are doing everything we can to find new colleagues and warmly invite parents who are interested in working with us to get in touch.
