Fontana aan de Ganzepan

Fontana aan de Ganzepan is our small-scale after-school care centre located in the meadows of Laag Zuthem, right next to the Ganzepan. Since August 2021 we have welcomed up to 16 primary-school children aged 4–12. The setting is exceptional: surrounded by woods and fields, with an educational farm just around the corner. Children step straight from school into peace and space. We work in small groups so every child receives personal attention. Our qualified staff pick the children up from nearby schools and bring them safely to Zwolseweg 76. Being outdoors, experiencing nature and playing together are at the heart of our programme. There is plenty of room to run, climb, build dens and meet animals. We make regular trips to the forest and the farm, and organise sports and games that match the children’s world. Healthy food is part of the deal: fresh fruit, drinks and a hearty sandwich are served every afternoon. We take allergies into account and adjust the menu accordingly. Parents can leave their children with confidence; our site has secure entry and a lovely garden with play equipment and seating when the weather allows. In short, at Fontana aan de Ganzepan children find a second home where they can relax, play and discover after school in a safe, green environment.
