KPO Kindcentrum de Parel

Welcome to KPO Kindcentrum de Parel at Azurietdijk 152 in Roosendaal. Starting 19 May 2025 we offer modern after-school care (BSO) under one roof for primary-school children aged 4 to 12. We work with two age groups: the mini-BSO for children aged 4–6 and the TOP-BSO for children from 7 years up to the end of primary school. Our pedagogical staff and teaching assistants form one permanent team together with the school teachers. This way we really know every child and can seamlessly connect to what happened in the classroom during the day. Broad talent development and a continuous learning line are at the heart of our approach. We work from one clear pedagogical vision laid down in our pedagogical policy plan and pedagogical work plan. The BSO groups use spacious, modern rooms. The mini-BSO starts in the PTO room and also has access to a playroom, a music and crafts room, and flexible floors for challenging play. The oldest BSO children have their own floor on the first floor, where they have plenty of space for spectacular activities. Outside there is a large garden for sports and games; inside there is a kitchen where we prepare tasty and healthy snacks together with the children. Our activity programme is a varied mix of playful and discovery-based learning, movement, nature, music, culture and healthy food. We offer sports and games, arts and crafts, cooking and baking, and outdoor lessons in our green play area. Everything takes place in a safe yet challenging setting with professional guidance. KPO Kindcentrum de Parel is part of KPO Roosendaal, a trusted educational organisation that already guides almost 4,000 pupils at twenty schools.
