De Kleine Maatjes

Welcome to De Kleine Maatjes, our after-school care (BSO) location at Grote Maatweg 4 in Wierden. We are part of KOSMO childcare and provide out-of-school care for children aged 4 to 13 in a charming, former agricultural school on the edge of town. The spacious indoor area is divided into two open living spaces that match the world of experience of both younger and older primary school children. Our outdoor area is rich in greenery and equipped with age-appropriate outdoor play equipment, allowing children to romp, explore and unwind after school. At De Kleine Maatjes we work according to the KOSMO vision: children receive loving guidance and personal attention. We offer before-school care from 7:00 am and after-school care until 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. After school, a varied activity programme is ready, with outdoor play and discovering nature at its heart. We regularly take walks and undertake green discovery trips in the area. Our pedagogical staff ensure that every child feels seen and heard and that the safety and social well-being of the children are central. Parents appreciate our small-scale approach: “A place where our children are seen and heard.
