BSO Kolmenscate

BSO Kolmenscate is an after-school care facility located at Venninkweg 1 in Deventer, on the grounds of public primary school Kolmenscate. We are part of De Company, a childcare organisation that has been working with schools in Deventer for over ten years to provide before-school, after-school and holiday care. Our BSO is open to all primary-school pupils and has room for up to 44 children. Our pedagogical staff are on hand every weekday from 07:00 to 19:00. Before-school care starts at 07:00; children can enjoy a calm breakfast and playtime until they are taken to class at 08:30. After-school care begins as soon as classes end and continues until 19:00. We collect the children from their classroom and walk together to the BSO rooms inside the school building and on the playground. During holidays and teacher-training days we are open all day and offer a varied programme of outings, crafts, outdoor play and sports and games. We follow De Company’s ‘healthy childcare’ principles: healthy food, plenty of exercise and attention to every child’s well-being. There is a large garden with play equipment and natural features where children can run, build and explore. In bad weather we use the classrooms and the school gym. Parents can book flexible care days and receive a monthly statement by e-mail. In short, BSO Kolmenscate is a familiar place where children can play, relax and have fun safely and actively after school.
