Knutselkookclub Hagestraat

Welcome to Knutselkookclub Hagestraat, our cozy Cooking-BSO in the heart of Haarlem. Since November 1, 2024, we provide unique after-school care at our location on Hagestraat 13 for up to 20 children aged 4 to 12 years. At our facility, everything revolves around creativity and cooking. After school, children learn to prepare their own dinner in a playful way. We combine cooking with creative activities, allowing children not only to learn about healthy and tasty food but also to develop their creativity. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with great enthusiasm and attention as they discover different products and materials. The Knutselkookclub was founded by Emily van Rijn. Her passion for creative work with children began during a journey through Asia and Africa, where she taught children in Nepal. This experience inspired her to create a place in the Netherlands where children can learn and grow in a creative way. Our Cooking-BSO is more than just after-school care. It's a place where children learn, experiment, and collaborate with joy. We believe that by cooking and creating themselves, children not only develop practical skills but also build self-confidence and social skills.
