BSO Klokhuis

BSO ’t Klokhuis is located in the unique Kindcentrum Groote Veen at Boomgaard 1 in Eelde. We share the building with peuterspeelgroep Torteltuin, OBS de Veenvlinder and the Mariaschool. In addition to our own classroom, we also use the schools’ learning plazas and other classrooms. Outside, children can play in a green garden with bushes, and the nearby water of the Groote Veen offers plenty of opportunities to explore: fishing with a rod, observing frog spawn or examining soil samples under the microscope. We provide care and guidance for children from 4 years old until the end of primary school. Our goal is for children to develop into independent and socially skilled individuals. We create a stimulating and safe environment where children feel comfortable and secure. Playing together and taking each other into account is central, without losing sight of each child's uniqueness. The BSO is a place to unwind after the school day, where children have great freedom in how they spend their time. BSO Klokhuis has four indoor spaces, allowing us to group children by level. Each group has fixed pedagogical staff, so children are cared for in a familiar and safe environment. We have an outdoor play area, a theatre corner, a craft corner and a 'chill room' especially for the older children. Our opening hours are: before-school care Monday to Friday from 7.30 to 8.30 am (early drop-off at 7.00 am possible), after-school care from end of school until 6.00 pm, holidays and school closure days from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm.
