Welcome to Kleinlab B.V. After-School Care at Hamerstraat 20A in Amsterdam Noord. As part of Kleinlab, an organization that has been offering a warm, creative environment for children since 2011, we provide after-school care for up to 30 children in the upper grades of primary school. We operate from a homely, small-scale setting where personal attention and creative development are central. Our after-school care is located in the same building as our daycare center and makes use of a spacious natural playground and an additional 125 m² garden leased from the municipality of Amsterdam. This outdoor space offers children ample opportunities to explore, play, and move in a green, safe environment. Inside, we have an atelier and children’s kitchen where kids can experiment with creative materials and prepare healthy, vegetarian meals. We believe in the importance of creative expression and sustainability. Our pedagogical staff are trained to stimulate children's creative development and work with organic, sustainable materials. We maintain a low staff-to-child ratio to allow for individual attention and guidance. Our approach is transparent and personal: parents are actively involved in their child’s development. Children are welcome from the age of 4 through the end of primary school. We collaborate with nearby schools and provide care after school hours, on study days, and during school holidays. Our location is easily accessible and situated in a vibrant, green neighborhood that is constantly evolving. We see ourselves as a laboratory for new ideas in childcare, where we challenge children to discover and shape their own world.
