Meesterlijk

Meesterlijk is an after-school care facility run by Junis Kinderopvang, located in the De Som community centre at Joseph Haydnlaan 5 in Hazerswoude-Rijndijk. We provide care for up to 24 children aged 8 to 13. Sharing the building with the local library gives our children free access to all books, making reading a natural part of their afternoon. Our bright, spacious rooms include a dedicated art studio where children can get creative, a construction corner and cosy reading nooks. Outside, a large playground with its own discovery garden invites children to run, cycle, play in the sandpit or cook in the outdoor kitchen. Younger after-school children have their own separate outdoor area so everyone can play safely. We collect children on foot from primary schools within walking distance. For schools further away Junis uses its own (bike) buses or works with a taxi company. Our qualified pedagogical staff make sure every afternoon balances relaxation with new challenges, exactly what children need after a long school day. Meesterlijk is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:30 to 18:30. On Wednesday and Friday care is provided at ZieZo, another Junis location in Hazerswoude-Rijndijk.
