Brakkenstein Heemraadstraat

Welcome to BSO Brakkenstein Heemraadstraat, the place where children aged 7 and older can play safely and enjoyably after school. Our location is at Heemraadstraat 9 in the green Brakkenstein district, within walking distance of primary school Brakkenstein. We work closely with the school, so children can walk straight to our spacious group room with their friends after their school day. At BSO Heemraadstraat we have one fixed base group: the Wolves. Up to 24 children can be accommodated here. Two permanent pedagogical staff members and occasionally a trainee are ready every day to guide the children. Our activities are tailored to the developmental stage of this age group: from creative craft corners and board games to sports and games in our own garden. Playing outside is just as important to us as playing inside. Our garden offers plenty of space: a sandbox, swings, a climbing frame, an outdoor kitchen and even a small football field. We also have a vegetable garden where children learn to sow, care for and harvest. For extra adventure we also use the school playground and the nature playground in the neighborhood. In short: at BSO Brakkenstein Heemraadstraat children have the space to relax, discover and have fun together in a familiar environment.
