Bink Heidebloemstraat

Bink Heidebloemstraat is our XXL after-school care location in Nijmegen, designed especially for children aged 9 to 13. Set in a former primary school at Heidebloemstraat 28A, the space is laid out to match the world of older children: a chill zone for homework, cosy corners to relax, and plenty of room to move and play. Our pedagogical staff give children the freedom to make their own choices. We walk together from school to the BSO; the short route is covered on foot under distant supervision, letting children practise independence in traffic. Inside you will find spacious, bright group rooms with natural materials and age-appropriate play resources. Outside there is a large garden plus an adjacent sports field that we use regularly. Whether your child wants to kick a football, race around or simply lie in a hammock, it is all possible. A healthy lifestyle matters to us. Fresh fruit and water are available every day; during holidays we also serve organic cold cuts. Exercise is part of the deal: our sports interns run weekly challenges and we are happy to use the nearby gym. Creative workshops, technology sessions and cooking activities take place in our own children’s kitchen. During school holidays we offer an extensive holiday programme—think excursions, sports days and themed weekends—with care available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Bink Heidebloemstraat is part of KION Childcare. We work in small, horizontal groups of up to 40 children so everyone receives the attention they deserve. Together we make sure every day is a celebration of fun, discovery and growing up.
