Kinderwoud De Romte

Welcome to Kinderwoud De Romte, our brand-new after-school care facility in the heart of Tytsjerk. Since November 2024, we are located in the brand-new multifunctional center at Noarderein 1, where we work intensively with primary school De Romte, the village house Yn'e Mande, and local sports associations. This unique collaboration offers your child a world full of possibilities after school hours. Our BSO has space for a maximum of 30 children and is open from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, both on school days and during holidays. We pick up the children directly from school and bring them to our spacious, bright areas in the MFC. Directly opposite our location lies Park Vijversburg - a beautiful green oasis where we regularly go on discovery trips with the children. With our kiddy bus, we also make trips to playgrounds in the area. At Kinderwoud De Romte, we believe that children should be given the space to discover who they are and what they enjoy. We offer a wide range of activities: from cooking and crafting to sports challenges and creative projects. Our pedagogical staff guide the children in making choices and encourage their independence. We work with themes that connect to the children's world of experience and make use of Tytsjerk's natural environment. Our outdoor area offers plenty of play opportunities with play equipment, a sandbox, and space to run and cycle. We find it important that children can relax after an intensive school day and release their energy. During holidays, we organize special activities and outings that align with the children's interests. We work closely with parents and primary school De Romte to optimally support each child's development. Our BSO is more than just childcare - it's a place where children can grow, play, and learn in a safe and familiar environment.
