Welcome to BSO De Zwaluw, a small-scale after-school care facility operated by KinderRijk, located at Pastoor van Zantenlaan 10 in Amstelveen. Since September 2, 2024, we provide after-school care for children from De Zwaluw primary school on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our BSO is a cozy, calm and inspiring place with views of the meadows. Thanks to our small-scale setup, everyone knows each other and every child has space to be themselves. We provide care for up to 22 school-age children between 4 and 12 years old. Our team of pedagogical staff is ready to offer children a safe and stimulating environment after school where they can play, discover and relax. We work from KinderRijk's four core values: Fun, Respect, Development and Imagination. These values form the basis for everything we do. BSO De Zwaluw is located in the De Zwaluw primary school building, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Children can come directly to our spaces on the ground floor and first floor after school. We use the school's facilities and have access to outdoor areas where children can play and be active. Our approach is designed to let children develop through play. We offer various activities that match the children's interests and stimulate their creativity, independence and social skills. The natural environment with views of the meadows provides additional opportunities for outdoor activities and nature experiences. As part of Stichting KinderRijk, a non-profit childcare organization, we guarantee high-quality childcare. We have been working with love and pedagogical expertise on children's development in Amsterdam and Amstelveen for over 55 years.
