Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of Kinderopvang Het Kinderpaleis, located at Olympiaweg 32 in Sommelsdijk. Our ‘De Staver’ location is situated in the De Staver recreation centre and provides care for two groups of children aged 4 to 13. Our qualified pedagogical staff personally pick the children up from school using our own transport, giving parents peace of mind while they work or study. Every day the children have access to the adjacent sports hall, where they can take part in sports and physical activities under supervision. For a small extra fee they can also join sports sessions run by the local sports club. Swimming lessons are another option: our staff drop off and collect the children from the pool. During school holidays we organise a varied programme of activities and excursions tailored to the children’s ages and interests. Examples include creative workshops, nature and scavenger hunts, sports days and cultural outings. We work closely with primary schools in the area, such as School met de Bijbel Sommelsdijk, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. We are open from 14.30 to 18.15 on school days and from 7.00 to 18.15 during school holidays. The location has capacity for up to 50 children and is registered under BSO number 331875263.
