Kindercentrum Hoek

Welcome to Kindercentrum Hoek, located at Molenplein 3 in the heart of Hoek. Our childcare centre is part of Kinderopvang Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, a trusted name in the region for over 40 years. At this location, we offer both daycare and out-of-school care, with our BSO groups specifically designed for children aged 4 to 12. For after-school care, we have two separate groups. The first group, ‘BSO de Boeffies’, is for children aged 4 to 7. After school, our dedicated childcare staff pick up the children and bring them to our space in the youth centre, where they can play, do crafts, play outside or take part in an activity. The space is fully tailored to the developmental stage of this age group, with toys and materials suited to their needs. The second group, ‘BSO de Bengels’, is for children aged 7 and older. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, these children play in a beautiful new space in the church at the village square. This location is specially designed for older children, featuring a football table, Lego, Playmobil and popular games. Our regular staff ensure the children have a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon. During school holidays, study days and Fridays, both groups come together at the youth centre, where we offer a varied programme of activities such as crafts, outdoor play, board games or free play. We believe it’s important for children to feel at home with us and to have the space to unwind after a day at school. Our regular staff – Roxanne, Sara, Els, Very, Yentl, Bianca and Danielle – create a safe and familiar environment every day. Kindercentrum Hoek is open every weekday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. During school holidays and study days, we provide care from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, provided at least three children are scheduled. We work with familiar faces and a close-knit team, so your child always sees familiar faces and feels at ease quickly.
