KOZV Wip Wap

Welcome to KOZV Wip Wap, our after-school care location at Schelpenlaan 1b in Terneuzen. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang Zeeuws-Vlaanderen and have provided trusted, professional care for up to 80 children aged 4–12 for more than ten years. Children decide what they want to do. Since January we use a choice-menu: every three weeks parents receive a QR-code to view the programme, and children can indicate what they feel like doing. This guarantees something fun and suitable for everyone. Our activities are varied and challenging. Creative children can bake: they peel, cut and prepare dishes they proudly take home. We also offer sewing, knitting, cutting and colouring. Sporty children can burn energy in our gym or, when dry, outside. We split the offer into lower- and upper-primary groups so each age gets fitting challenges. Building happens with Kapla, LEGO or cardboard—sometimes free, sometimes themed, such as everything in one colour. Technical and tough activities are scheduled regularly: carpentry with pallet wood or taking apart old devices to discover how they work. Our natural playground is a big hit. Children hide in the willow hut, harvest snack tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers from the vegetable garden and haul loose wood around. The bird-nest swing is popular with both younger and older kids. We are open on school days from 7.30–8.30 a.m. and 2.30–6.00 p.m.; on Wednesday and Friday afternoons we start at 12.30 p.m. During all school holidays we remain open from 7.30 a.m.–6.00 p.m. Parents receive a daily photo and message through our KOZV app so they can share in the day’s adventures. In short: at KOZV Wip Wap children choose for themselves, learn through play and experience something new every day in a familiar environment.
