Kinderopvang Woudfennen

Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of Kinderopvang Woudfennen, located at Madame Curieweg 10 in Joure. As part of Popma-Jonkman, we provide care for up to 20 primary-school children aged 4 to 12 at this location. We have been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 February 2018 under number 293920618. Our after-school care is intentionally small-scale. This means short lines of communication, an accessible atmosphere and lots of personal attention. The pedagogical professionals who work with your children continuously follow refresher courses, training and workshops to maintain high quality and keep up with developments in our field. We use a vertical group structure: children of different ages are together. In this way they learn from and with each other, develop social skills and create a homely, secure environment. The outdoor playground offers plenty of space to move around and get some fresh air after school. Parents can choose from different types of care: fixed care on set days, 40-week care excluding school holidays, or flexible care for those who need irregular days. Care is available Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., except on official public holidays and for two weeks during the summer holiday. Kinderopvang Woudfennen works on the basis of trust and open communication. Before placement we like to schedule an introductory meeting in which we discuss your wishes and those of your child and give you a tour. This way you can be sure that our after-school care meets what your child needs after a long school day.
