Kinderopvang Wiekwijs

WiekWijs After-School Care is part of the Bruchterveld Child Centre, located in the Multifunctional Facility at Wijkstraat 2 in Bruchterveld. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 who attend CBS De Wiekslag or another primary school nearby. Because we are housed in the same building as the school, children can walk straight to a familiar place after school where they are welcomed by our qualified pedagogical staff. Our programme follows the DoenKids activity framework. Each period centres on a theme that we explore together with the children, yet children are also free to pick an activity of their choice. Activities range from crafts and games to outdoor play or simply relaxing after a busy school day. We believe it is important that children feel free to do what they enjoy, as long as it is safe and enjoyable. Care is available on weekdays from the moment school ends until 17:30. We are also open during school holidays, except for the second week of the Christmas holiday and the four middle weeks of the summer holiday. During those weeks care can be provided on request. We work closely with the school, which allows us to organise activities that connect to what the children have learned that day. All our fees include a bread meal, fruit, snacks and drinks.
