Welcome to Thuizbij Kortenhoef, located at Julianaweg 11a in the heart of Kortenhoef. As part of Thuizbij, we have been providing small-scale after-school care in a familiar environment that feels like a second home since 1998. Our location is specially designed to offer children aged 4 to 12 a safe and secure place after school. We believe that a child who feels safe can develop best. That's why we've furnished our spaces like a warm home, with comfortable couches and homely materials instead of a sterile environment. We operate from five core values that are deeply embedded in our daily practice. Safety comes first - we provide a protective environment where children can play and discover without danger. We create security through our homely atmosphere and the personal attention we give to each child. The feeling of being at home is essential: every child is unique and develops at their own pace, and we guide and stimulate accordingly. Development forms a natural part of our care.
