BSO 't Kwakersnest Toermalijn

BSO ’t Kwakersnest Toermalijn is located right next to De Toermalijn primary school at Driehuizerkerkweg 121 in Driehuis. Children walk from their classroom to our dedicated BSO space in just a few minutes, allowing a smooth hand-over between teacher and pedagogical staff so parents always know how the school day went. We provide after-school care for up to 44 children aged 4 to 12. Our site borders the Kennemer Dunes: a vast, safe playground we explore every day. We head into the forest, search the frog pond or use the two large schoolyards for sports and games led by our sports coaches. Indoors we have our own room and access to the school gym, where weekly activities include dodgeball, relay races, judo, dance and creative workshops. Our vision aligns seamlessly with De Toermalijn’s pedagogical policy ‘Vier Keer Wijzer’. Together we connect, broaden and deepen experiences, creating a playful learning environment. We also offer before-school care: in the morning we bring children to their classroom and hand them over to the teacher. For after-school care we partner with De Toermalijn, Franciscusschool (IJmuiden) and Waldorf aan Zee (IJmuiden). If your child attends another school we are happy to explore possibilities. During holidays we organise extra clinics and workshops: surfing at the beach, scouting in nature, dance, boxing and creative projects, making every holiday an unforgettable adventure.
