Welcome to VeenKids Childcare De Hereford, our cheerful after-school care located at Tweespan 37 in the Dragonder neighborhood of Veenendaal. We welcome children aged 4 to 13 in a homely environment where fun and personal attention are central. Our location is named after the cheerful cow Hero Hereford, who together with his farm friends challenges children to discover the world together. We provide care for up to 29 children, allowing us to work on a small scale and give each child the space to develop in their own way. We believe that children develop best when they feel safe and valued. Our dedicated pedagogical staff with MBO/HBO diplomas ensure that every child feels heard and seen. We work with Doenkids for a fun and educational day, offering activities focused on social, emotional, cognitive and motor development. Our activities are varied and challenging. From crafting and outdoor play to sports and games - there's always something to experience. We have our own KidsLibrary in collaboration with Veenendaal Library, where children can enjoy reading moments and discover books themselves. Additionally, we practice children's gestures in the group to promote communication and contribute to a positive and inclusive atmosphere. Healthy nutrition and sufficient exercise are important to us. We offer carefully prepared nutritious snacks and actively encourage outdoor play in our garden. Our location is public, making everyone welcome regardless of background or beliefs. We celebrate holidays in an inclusive way so all children can participate.
