Regenboogvilla

Welcome to Regenboogvilla, our after-school care facility located in the Gagels district of Steenwijk. We provide care for children aged 4 to 12 years in two BSO groups with a total of 40 places. Our location is a spacious building with large, bright group areas that create a warm atmosphere and are fully equipped according to all safety standards. Each group room has direct access to our outdoor space where children can enjoy playing in the sandbox or with our outdoor play equipment. Our BSO consists of two large, challenging spaces where children can play, bake, do crafts and romp around. After school, we welcome the children with fruit, drinks and a cracker. Children who arrive at 12:00 receive a bread meal. We pick up children from all schools in Steenwijk, Giethoorn and Wanneperveen. We work with an enthusiastic team of dedicated pedagogical staff who have heart and attention for every child. We put the child first and offer a challenging and stimulating program that is developed together with the children. The child can decide for themselves whether to participate in activities. We organize children's meetings several times a year to discuss the wishes and needs of different age groups. This way we take into account the differences between children aged 4-8 and 8-12 years. For older children, we offer more responsibility and challenges. Additionally, attention is given to doing and learning homework brought from school.
