Kinderopvang Prins Vleermuis Kazerne BV

Kinderopvang Prins Vleermuis Kazerne is located on the former Prins Maurits barracks site in Ede. Since June 2011 we have been providing childcare here in a wooded environment. In August 2018 we moved to a completely renovated building just a stone's throw from our previous location. Our facility consists of two after-school care groups specifically designed for children aged 4 to 12. We believe there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing. That's why we go outside all year round. In addition to the forest, we regularly visit the Ginkelse Heide, the petting zoo, or one of the many playgrounds in the area. During the winter period, we have access to a sports hall two days a week, where we can enjoy plenty of exercise and sports. The interests of the children are central to us. We craft, dress up, make music, sing, dance and read aloud. Our permanent residents, goat Kiki and rabbits Hanna and Olaf, all love to cuddle and make our location even more special. We work according to the Thomas Gordon Method, where personal attention and a safe, loving environment are paramount. Our location is five minutes from Ede-Wageningen train station, ten minutes from the A12 and A30, and within walking distance of downtown Ede. We pick up children from school with Stints or cargo bikes and provide a warm home away from home after school.
