Welcome to BSO de Boomhut, the after-school care location of Kinderopvang Onder de Pannen at Brabantlaan 75 in Vught. Under our roof children feel safe and at home. We provide out-of-school care for children aged 4 to 13, focusing on personal attention and a warm, family atmosphere. Our BSO is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday until 18:15. After school, children gather in our spacious hall where they can choose from a wide range of activities. Every day we set out materials for arts & crafts, sports, nature play and cooking. During school holidays all BSO groups join together here and we organise special workshops such as treasure hunts, cooking classes or day trips to exciting places in the region. We collect children from nearby primary schools. Pupils in lower grades are met by a staff member; older children walk to Boomhut independently. On arrival a healthy snack is waiting: gingerbread, vegetables, fruit and water. On Wednesdays and Fridays, when schools close early, we serve a full bread meal with milk and water. Our philosophy is simple: anything goes, nothing is compulsory. After-school time is free time. We give children freedom of choice and encourage their own initiatives, while still providing structure through fixed base groups and a familiar daily rhythm. Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready to join in the play, listen and grow together with every child.
