Welcome to BSO Dr. Schaepman Ridderkerk, a welcoming after-school care facility located within Dr. Schaepmanschool at Hovystraat 60 in Ridderkerk. We are part of Mundo Kinderopvang, a trusted name in childcare in the Rijnmond region for over 40 years. Our BSO provides care for up to 44 children aged 4 to 12 years. The space is designed to feel like “grandma’s living room,” offering a cozy and familiar environment where children quickly feel at home. Our dedicated pedagogical staff are committed to making every afternoon special. We believe children develop best through play and exploration. That’s why we offer a wide range of activities, including sports, nature-based and creative arts, and hands-on workshops. Our specialized Activity Team regularly visits the location with expertise in sports, nature, and arts. During school holidays and study days, we organize extra outings, workshops, and special events. We work closely with Dr. Schaepmanschool, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Children can join us directly after school for a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon. We value giving children the freedom to choose their activities. There is plenty of stimulating play material available, and children can decide whether to join in or simply enjoy some quiet time. At Mundo, everything revolves around fun, safety, and development. We play outside every day, rain or shine, because outdoor play is essential! We provide a healthy snack and drink to help children recharge for the afternoon. Parents can confidently leave their children in our care, knowing they are in good hands.
