BSO Kinderopvang Meerdijk

Welcome to BSO de Kanjers, our after-school care at Meerdijk location, Bislett 7 in Emmen. We provide care for up to 21 school-age children aged 4 to 13. From this site we collect children by car from ’t Twiespan, Sint Gerardusschool and OBS op het Veld, giving parents peace of mind while they work. Outdoor play is one of our core pillars. Meerdijk features a large green outdoor area where we spend as much time as possible with the children—even when it drizzles. Thanks to our location between sports fields and near PRO Emmen school, we regularly organise clinics and workshops with these ‘neighbours’. This way we combine nature experience with sports activities and children learn to cooperate and discover through play. Our permanent team of pedagogical staff guide the children in a safe, loving environment. We follow our pedagogical policy plan in which the child’s best interest is central. Every afternoon offers space for rest, homework, play and exercise, tailored exactly to what the children need after a school day.
