Welcome to BSO Kindcentrum Montessori, part of Stichting Abbo Kindcentra, located at Thomas de Rouckstraat 2 in Bergen op Zoom. We provide after-school care for up to 32 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our BSO is specially designed to offer children a safe, challenging, and inspiring environment after school hours. Our location works closely with the Montessori school in the same building, allowing us to provide a seamless transition from school to after-school care. Children can come directly to us after school in a familiar environment. We follow the Montessori vision where every child is unique and we trust in each child's own learning pace and talents. Our activity program is broad and tailored to the different ages and interests of the children. We offer both indoor and outdoor activities. Outside, children can build huts, play games, and be creative with natural materials. Inside, we have a special relaxation/lounge area where children can have quiet time, but they can also participate in theater and drama activities, crafts, music making, and preparing presentations. Additionally, we regularly organize cultural excursions to museums, the library, and other cultural locations in the region. These excursions contribute to the broad development of the child and familiarize them with the world around them. Our pedagogical staff are professionally trained and work according to the pedagogical policy of Abbo Kindcentra, with core competencies such as emotional safety, personal competence, social competence, and learning norms and values at the center. We believe it's important that children feel free to be themselves and can discover and develop their talents. BSO Kindcentrum Montessori is more than just childcare; we are a place where children enjoy going, where they can play, discover, learn, and relax under professional guidance.
