Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of Kindcentrum Kiezelrijk, part of Stichting Abbo Kindcentra. Our after-school care is located on the ground floor of the modern school building at Stadshillen 36 in Steenbergen. We provide care for children aged 4 to 12 in a homely, non-school atmosphere. Our pedagogical professionals create a warm environment every day where children can develop freely. The spacious after-school care area is divided into different corners: a creative studio where children can craft and paint, a nature table for discoveries, a construction corner with Lego materials, and a quiet reading nook. Children choose where they want to play, while we guide them in their choices. Outside, we have a safe, green playground with climbing equipment, a sandbox and plenty of space for movement games. When the weather is nice, we spend a lot of time outdoors with activities such as dodgeball, jump rope or just running around and romping. We work according to the pedagogical policy of Abbo Kindcentra, in which the core competencies of emotional safety, personal competence, social competence and norms and values are central. Our permanent, qualified pedagogical professionals are ready every day to give your child a pleasant afternoon. In case of illness or vacation, qualified substitute staff ensure continuity. Parents stay informed through our parent app Konnect, which allows you to receive photos and messages about your child's experiences. We are always open to questions or a personal conversation - there is room for a chat during pick-up, but you can also make an appointment for an extensive conversation. The after-school care is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:15 PM. We offer before and after school care, vacation care and care during study days. All children are welcome, regardless of which primary school they attend.
