Welcome to Joepie de Poepie, our warm after-school care (BSO) located at Stationsplein 20 in Hulst. We are a small-scale organization where children aged 4 to 12 feel at home and are encouraged to be themselves. At Joepie de Poepie, everything revolves around fun, discovery, and growing together. Our qualified pedagogical staff guide the children with personal attention. We work in home-like groups, allowing us to truly connect with each child. Our spaces are designed as a real “nature house”: indoors, outdoors, and in the atelier, children can play, create, and explore. We believe children learn best by doing. That’s why we offer activities that match their interests and developmental stage. After school, we pick up the children and bring them to our location. Here, they can relax with a healthy snack, and then enjoy plenty of space to play, build, draw, or run around outside. We have a safe garden with play equipment and natural elements where children can run, hide, and engage in imaginative play. We work closely with parents and nearby primary schools. Short lines of communication and openness are important to us. Every child is unique and has their own talents. We give children the space to grow at their own pace and discover their own path. We do this with respect, patience, and lots of joy. Our location is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. We are also open during school holidays, so children always have a familiar place to go. We are officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) under number 900504833, allowing parents to apply for childcare allowance.
