Kinderopvang in de Pastorie (KiP)

Welcome to Kinderopvang in de Pastorie (KiP) at Deldensestraat 78 in Borne. We are a small-scale after-school care facility where children from primary school age up to secondary school are welcome. At KiP we offer before-school care, after-school care and care during school holidays and study days – all under the umbrella of out-of-school care. Our pedagogical vision is inspired by the insights of paediatrician Emmi Pikler and translated into our own VERS ingredients: Freedom, Individuality, Space and the Free-range Principle. Children are allowed to be themselves and to roam freely in a warm nest where safety and security are central. We create an environment in which every child is given the space to grow and develop in his or her own way. KiP is located in a charming, small-scale location with room for a maximum of 20 children. This limited size ensures peace, overview and personal attention. We work with a vertical group structure, where children of different ages play and learn together. This stimulates social development and the natural learning behaviour of children among themselves. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide children in discovering the world around them. We offer peace and structure, but also room for personal initiative. Whether it is playing a game, building a hut or just relaxing; at KiP it is all allowed. We are there when the schools are closed, with flexible opening hours that match the care needs of parents. Feel free to come by for a personal conversation. Our door is always open to you.
