Welcome to BSO het Vlindertje, located at Meint Veningastraat 84 in the heart of Hoogezand. Our small-scale after-school care provides a place for up to 11 children aged 4 to 12. We are part of KDV/BSO het Vlindertje V.O.F. and follow the vision of Emmi Pikler: every child is given space to develop safely, freely and at their own pace. Our premises feature three playrooms on the attic floor with a total area of 118 m². Children can enjoy themselves in room 1 (21 m²), room 2 (58 m²) and the cosy kitchen area (39 m²). Adjacent to the building we share a spacious outdoor area of 126 m² with the day-care centre, where children can romp, play and discover in the open air. We believe it is important that children feel at home with us. Our permanent, enthusiastic and creative pedagogical staff ensure a warm atmosphere every day, where fun and development go hand in hand. We offer peace and structure after a busy school day, help with homework when needed and organise fun activities tailored to the children's interests. Parents are actively involved through our digital system PortaBase, where the pedagogical policy and the most recent inspection report are transparent. We believe good cooperation between parents and our team is essential, so that your child can develop optimally and you can go to work with peace of mind. BSO het Vlindertje is registered with the National Register under number 351795005 and is supervised by the GGD Groningen.
