Kinderopvang & BSO Grumpie

Kinderopvang & BSO Grumpie is located at Steentijdsingel 53 in the centre of Ypenburg, The Hague. Since 2006 we have provided reliable after-school care (BSO) and before-school care (VSO) for children aged 4 to 12. The well-being of every child is our top priority; our qualified pedagogical staff create a safe, familiar and cheerful atmosphere every single day. Our spacious BSO room is divided into different corners so every child can choose what they feel like doing. In the quiet corner with comfy sofas children can read a book or simply relax. The creative corner is stocked with craft supplies; here kids decorate photo frames, make summer-themed ice-cream or flower crafts, or work on other seasonal projects. Those who prefer to move can join ball games such as dodgeball or football, or play board games at the table. Every Monday we offer a real sports lesson, and throughout the school year we run changing themed activities. We believe cooking and baking are important: baking cookies, making fresh pasta or preparing puff-pastry snacks is both educational and great fun. During school holidays we love to go out and about—trips to the beach, visits to theme parks or other adventurous outings. A clear schedule is always shared with parents in advance so you know exactly what your child will be doing each day. We pick up children with our own STINT or on foot from various primary schools in the Ypenburg area, including De Christoffel, De Vlieger and De Fontein. On non-scheduled days and teacher training days you can also come to us—on request and provided our planning allows. We stay open all year round, including school holidays. Our location is quiet yet easily reached by public transport and by car. We are ready for you from 7 a.m. every day; the BSO is open until 6 p.m. (until 6.30 p.m. is possible). VSO starts at 7 a.m., after which we take the children to school. Flexibility is our trademark: together with parents we always look for care that fits your personal situation perfectly.
