Kinderopvang Engeltjes

Welcome to Kinderopvang Engeltjes, located in the De Roerdomp community center at Roerdomplaan 12 in Rotterdam-Charlois. Our facility provides after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 in a homely and challenging environment. We are situated in a child-friendly neighborhood with abundant nature nearby, including the beautiful Zuiderpark where our children regularly go on outings. Our after-school care group is part of a location that also offers daycare, but we have our own dedicated space designed specifically for older children. This space is warmly and challengingly furnished with different play areas that match the interests of school-age children. In our large play hall, children can fully enjoy themselves in various sports and play activities that perfectly meet their need for movement after a school day. We feature a stage where children are given space to develop their creativity and imagination. This stage is used for all kinds of creative expression such as drama, music, and dance. During outdoor play, children can enjoy our large rooftop terrace and outdoor playground equipped with various challenging outdoor play opportunities. These outdoor spaces provide ample room for sports activities and relaxation in the fresh air. Our opening hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, allowing us to flexibly accommodate parents' work schedules. We work with a horizontal group structure where after-school care children come together in their own age group. This creates a safe and familiar environment where children quickly feel at home.
