BSO “de Professors” by En nu jij has been located at Kasteel Noordeinde 22 in Meppel since 1 January 2020. We provide after-school care for up to 64 children aged 4 to 12. Our BSO is organised into three horizontal age groups: Junior (4-5 years), Professor (6-7 years) and Senior (7-12 years). We pick children up from primary schools De Sprinkels, Stadskwartier, De Plataan and Het Kompas, allowing parents to work with peace of mind while their children enjoy a safe and stimulating environment. Our motto is: “I can show you, I stand beside you, and then YOU! I am here for you!” During term time we work thematically and on projects. In the holidays we focus on discovery-based learning: children are given space to explore independently through themes such as Nature and Technology. We offer experiments and activities that spark curiosity and foster creativity. Every discovery journey is unique; each child follows their own path full of side routes to new insights. Our pedagogical staff create a challenging space where children can express their imagination and creativity. We believe in talent development and want every child to be proud of themselves and feel good. Therefore we provide freedom within clear boundaries, allowing children to experience, discover and try things out in their own way.
