Welcome to Kinderopvang Dijkerhoek, a small-scale after-school care facility located at Maatmansweg 1 in the heart of Holten. Our BSO provides care for up to 28 children aged 4 to 13. Set in a peaceful, rural environment with views of a traditional windmill, we offer a home-like atmosphere where children can play, explore, and grow after school. Our dedicated team of qualified childcare professionals is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment every day. With a small, close-knit team, everyone knows each other, and children always see familiar faces. This creates a sense of security and belonging that helps children feel at home quickly. We offer a diverse range of activities tailored to children's interests and developmental stages. From sports and games to creative pursuits like crafts and singing, music and dance, as well as quiet time for reading or playing games. During school holidays, we organize special outings such as ice skating, bowling, or playground visits. Even on rainy days, there's always something fun to do, like building our own cinema. We believe in balancing active play with moments of rest. Children have ample space to both expend energy and unwind. We make full use of our rural surroundings for outdoor play and discovery. Regular excursions include visits to the library, petting zoo, or supermarket – everyday places we turn into exciting adventures. Parents can expect a personal approach. Being small-scale, we know every child and parent personally. Quick questions can be addressed during pick-up or drop-off, and we're happy to schedule longer conversations when needed. We work closely with parents to ensure the best care for each child. Kinderopvang Dijkerhoek is a recognized SBB training company offering internships to students. We're proud of our role in training new childcare professionals. Our BSO is registered with LRK number 162029962, enabling parents to apply for childcare allowance.
