Welcome to Kinderopvang De Wielenweide B.V. in Ryptsjerk, where our after-school care (BSO) has been a trusted place for children aged 4 to 12 since 2010. Located at Rijksstraatweg 9A, our unique agricultural setting features a 1,500 m² play meadow that opens directly onto the surrounding nature reserve. Outdoor play is at the heart of everything we do: every day children can run, explore, and help tend the vegetable garden and care for our animals. From feeding our pot-bellied pigs Lotje and Dundey to petting rabbits and guinea pigs and collecting fresh eggs, it’s all part of the experience. Our pedagogical approach is designed to let children simply be children. We provide a homely, safe environment where they are free to choose their own activities. There are no computers or screens; instead, we encourage play, cooperation, and discovery in nature. Our dedicated, permanent staff guide a maximum of 24 children per day in small, manageable groups. We use both horizontal and vertical group structures so every child has room to develop at his or her own pace. Kinderopvang De Wielenweide B.V. is open year-round, Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30, except on official public holidays. Flexible arrangements for earlier drop-off or later pick-up are always negotiable. We are officially registered in the National Childcare Register under LRK number 174402417 and cooperate with the Brede School.
