Welcome to BSO De Theepot, located at Guido Gezellelaan 3 in Hillegom. We are a small-scale after-school care facility that provides a welcoming and homely environment for up to 60 children aged 4 to 12. Our strength lies in the personal attention and warm atmosphere we offer every day. We pick up children from various primary schools in the area after school and bring them to our location within the Brede School Hillegom building. Here, children are free to choose how they want to spend their time. We offer a wide range of activities tailored to each child’s age, interests, and developmental level, including creative workshops, sports, and educational themed excursions. Our pedagogical goal is to help children grow into balanced individuals who recognize and use their own talents. We create situations that make children feel safe and confident, helping them build self-esteem and learn to stand up for themselves. Respect for themselves and others is at the heart of everything we do. Our team of dedicated pedagogical staff welcomes the children every day with care and attention. Rather than following one specific pedagogical approach, we draw inspiration from various educational philosophies such as Montessori, Steiner, and Reggio Emilia to shape our own unique method. BSO De Theepot is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 426094402 and is supervised by the GGD Hollands Midden.
