Welcome to BSO De Theepot at Stationsweg 45 in Hillegom. We are a small-scale after-school care facility with space for up to 44 children aged 4 to 12. Our strength lies in the homely atmosphere and personal attention we provide every day. Our qualified staff pick up children after school from primary schools in the area. We collaborate with virtually all schools in Hillegom, giving parents flexibility in their choice. Children arrive in a warm, familiar environment where they can relax after a busy school day. We offer a wide range of activities tailored to children's interests and developmental levels. This includes creative workshops, sports activities, and educational themed excursions. Children have the freedom to choose what they want to play with, while we ensure there are enough stimulating options available. Our pedagogical approach is inspired by various educational philosophies such as Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Gordon. We believe in developing balanced children who learn to recognize and utilize their own talents. Safety, security, and respect are central to everything we do. BSO De Theepot is located within the Brede School Hillegom building, giving us a unique place within the community. We take pride in children feeling at home with us and returning with pleasure.
