Kinderopvang 'De Spiker' BSO

Welcome to Kinderopvang ‘De Spiker’ BSO, located at Nesserwei 2 in the heart of Ternaard. Our after-school care centre was created through a successful partnership between Krista Hellinga and Gersa Brander, who joined forces to establish a warm, small-scale place where children aged 4 to 12 feel at home. We provide care for up to 24 children, divided into horizontal groups that match your child’s age and development. Our location features separate, cosy spaces designed especially for BSO children. Indoors, children can choose from various play areas: a creative arts corner, a comfortable reading nook, and a space for building or playing games. We believe it’s important that children can decide for themselves what they want to do, allowing them to discover and develop their own interests. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide, play along, and offer a listening ear after an intensive school day. Outside, we have a lovely, safe outdoor area where children can run, play, and explore every day. The green surroundings of Ternaard invite adventure: we regularly make use of nearby play facilities and organise sports activities where children can burn off energy. We also collaborate with local schools, so we can pick up children after school and bring them safely to our location. We believe in a familiar environment with consistent faces. Krista and Gersa, both trained and experienced in childcare, together with their team, guarantee personal attention and a homely atmosphere.
