Kinderopvang de Sleutel

Welcome to Kinderopvang de Sleutel, located at Groningenhof 4 in Helmond. We provide both after-school care (BSO) and daycare (KDV) for children aged 0 to 12. Our team, led by Jenny Groenendijk, works in a small-scale, homely setting where every child is given space to be themselves. In our after-school care, we focus on positive traits and individual attention. Each child receives a personal folder in which our pedagogical staff regularly write positive observations. For example, we note when a child helps another or finds the courage to speak up in the group. These folders are reviewed together with the children, fostering pride and self-confidence. We deliberately maintain a low child-to-staff ratio: at least two supervisors are always present, even with ten or fewer children. This enhances the quality of our guidance and allows us to truly connect with each child. Learning and development through play is central to our approach, using each child’s unique talents as a starting point. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
