Welcome to After-School Care De Gompy’s, located at Danslaan 72 in Almere. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 years in a safe and homely environment. Our BSO is part of Kinderopvang De Gompy’s, a recognized childcare organization that has been active in Almere for many years. We pick up children from school using our own BSO van. During pick-up, a qualified childcare professional is always present to ensure safe transportation. This staff member is fully trained in safe transport protocols and applies them consistently. Upon arrival at our location, children are given space to unwind after a long school day. We offer both rest and structure, as well as room for play and development. Our location accommodates up to 30 children. We work with fixed groups and a consistent team of three childcare professionals. All staff members hold valid first aid certificates and are trained to guide children in a safe and responsible manner. We follow a clear pedagogical policy that allows for the individual development of each child. We encourage independence, social skills, and creative development through play and interaction. Safety and health are top priorities. We operate according to an up-to-date safety and health policy, where risks are carefully assessed and measures are taken to minimize them. We have an anti-bullying protocol and a clear reporting code for domestic violence and child abuse. Parents are actively involved through our parent committee, and we communicate openly and transparently about their child's development. BSO De Gompy’s is officially registered under number 227912536 and is supervised by the GGD Flevoland. We are affiliated with the Childcare Disputes Committee and operate in accordance with the Childcare Act. Our location is small-scale and manageable, contributing to a safe and familiar atmosphere for the children.
