We are Kinderopvang de Giraffe Westerhaar, an after-school care (BSO) located in a former school building at Marijkestraat 10 in Westerhaar-Vriezenveensewijk. Our house sits in the heart of a quiet residential area and is surrounded by a spacious green play meadow where children can run, romp and explore after school. The garden features a sandbox, trampoline and various play equipment that invites children aged 4 to 12 to move and engage in imaginative play. Flexibility is our priority. We offer both regular and flexible after-school care, tailored to your working hours and your child’s school schedule. We pick up the children from nearby primary schools and ensure a safe transition from school to our location. Upon arrival, children can choose from a variety of activities: outdoor play in our garden, crafts, board games or simply relaxing with friends. Our experienced pedagogical staff guide the children with personal attention so that every child feels seen and valued. We believe that children develop best when they can be themselves. Therefore, we provide a familiar and professional environment that allows room for initiative as well as structure.
